    Biography & History

Saturnino Cunha Family — Eight generations in the Tejo

Founded in 1947, Quinta de São João is the heart of Pinhal da Torre. Thirty hectares of vineyard in continuous production, vinified in the historical cellar with Algerian concrete vats. The Saturnino Cunha family maintains the traditional method — sustainable viticulture, minimal intervention and Braille on labels since 2003 — combining heritage with innovation.
